Stanly County has a rich history of prominent musicians. Many of these people taught and served in local churches and schools. This first of a series of Prominent Musicians programs will honor individuals in Albemarle: Margie Mauney, Katherine Almond, Mary Hearne, Paul Frye, Tommy Hauss, Joann Morton, Annyce Worsham, and Marie Jones. Please join us at First Presbyterian Church, 126 W. North Street, in Albemarle, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
