The Stanly County Historical Society invites the public to a Free program by award-winning author, speaker, and storyteller Randell Jones. Come hear about the perilous marking of Boone Trace into Kentucky 250 years ago in the spring of 1775, just before the American Revolution. Also, hear the story that made Daniel Boone internationally famous in his lifetime as we follow his footprints across a remarkable 86 years and over wilderness terrain that became eleven states.
